Well the Scotts headed West to explore not to long ago.  Our first stop was a fantastic antique store just ourside of Burns Lake (prime location to take our guests to).  Then after a brief lunch and buying some cookies from a mennonite lady at a farmers market we hit the road.  Our next stop was the Francois Lake ferry which took us to a little one horse town called Grassy Plain.  From there we travelled on a dirt road to the spill way.  It was massive!  The Skins lake spillway is where the Nechako river begins and therefore the main cause of all of our flooding here in the 'hoof.  I think Nana and especially Papa would enjoy taking this trip with us.

We went to the park and had lots of fun!  Grandma went on the teeter totter and Auntie Heather helped Hudson climb up the slide.  It was just great!  Grandma loved the pie at the OK Cafe.  You all really should come for a visit just to taste the pie!  There's tons of delicious flavors. Mmmm pie.

Hudson has been busy with potty training.  it started out as just a fun learn about the pottyu adventure but it has quickly turned into full blown training.  He has caught on really quickly that potty = gummy bears. 

The twins have arrived!  Amy and Dusty had 2 baby girls on July 11th.  Sophia and Jocelyn.  We can not wait to go to Kamloops and get our hands on them! 

Hmm other news... My dump finds are still pretty great.  Yard sales are dwindling a little but that is to be expected since it is so so hot. 

 

Well Craig just got home with a present for me from a foriegn dump (FT ST James) so I must go check it out!

Wow over a month since my last entry!  Ooops!  Well We have been quite busy in June with purchasing some rental property in Prince George and all.

Plus we have been chilling in the pool having lots of fun!

We just got back from a fantastic trip to Kamloops. I (Sarah) ran 10k with Elaine for Cystic Fibrosis.  Whew what a thing to do.  And even though it was hard and I really did not have fun doing it (except for Elaine's company) I totally want to do it again!

 

Hudson had his first slurpee today and it was so great!  Boy oh boy did he make a mess!  He loved ever single drop of it!

Well Hudson got a new bike this weekend... we figured no point in messing around with a tricycle and went straight for the 2 wheeler road hog. 

 

Craig and I went to Shogun with 2 other couples lastnight and had some really yummy food.  Mmmm so good.

 

I had an excellent Mother's day today.  My boys were very good to me.  Hudson got me a tile with his hand prints on it.  We all went out for brunch after church today.  It was really yummy too!

 

Only 2 weeks til the run!  Yikes

My mommy has a new job babysitting for 6 weeks.  It is lots of fun getting to play with kids but I am so tuckered by the end of the day.  Yesterday mommy babysat in the morning and then we went to pick up daddy from work and brought him home to do some stuff.  Then we drove daddy back to work and met the Wlasitz for lunch.  Then my mommy took me to the library and we got some books.  Finally I got back in the car and I was so tuckered I fell asleep. 

 

My mommy has to get me up early in the morning to go out and babysit.  She's not too happy about that part either.  Pray for me please!

Well Hudson has chicken pox and when you askhim if he is a chicken boy he flaps his arms like he's a chicken.  It's quite fantastic really. 

 

I had a great birthday yesterday.  Thank you for the many many phone calls everybody.  It's so nice to know that I am loved. 

 

Craig got ma a flat iron for my birthday so below is a picture of me and my straight hair. 

I am looking forward to the late presents I will receive next week :)

Well we are just humming along here with our renovations!  Our bedroom now has new flooring and I have been busy painting a metal wash tub to be Hudson's new toy box for the living room.  Hopefully we will get Hudson's room painted soon and Craig is still plugging away in the basement. 

 

Hudson is quite enjoying playing with a (dressup) hard hat and often puts it away over by Craig's real hard hat.

 

On Friday we made a really long road trip with the Wlasitz to 100 Mile to pick up their brand new puppy Pretzel.  You can see pictures of pretzel at www.thewfamily.net .

Well Hudson has a terrible haircut... well what's left of his hair anyway.  I accidently used the wrong guard on the clippers and well once you start too short you have no choice but to finish.  Go ahead and make chemo jokes!  I think bald is beautiful! (good thing it's just hair and it will grow!

 

On a happier note we got our baby backpack from Nana so we will hopefully be hitting the trails this weekend! 

 

 

What a GREAT weekend we have had!  Easter was a total blast as we challenged the Wlasitz to an all over Vanderhoof clue hunt.  It was so great!  Hudson has had a lot of fun playing with some plastic eggs that he got from the Wlasitz.  (poor kid no candy for him).  We also had a scrumpious dinner with the Wlasitz and the Durupts. 

Today Craig was off work so we have been Spring cleaning.  Yes that's right folks I said SPRING!!! There are hints of spring all over here now and I am so happy. 

We went to Extra Foods today to get a ball for Hudson to play with outside.  He picked his ball all by himself and proudly carried it through the store.  I thought things would get a little hairy when we got to the checkout but he did really well handing his new ball to the lady so we could pay for it.

Well yesterday I went to Prince George on a ladies shopping trip.  At Value Village I found the best bathing suit for Hudson.  It is a full body suit with floaties in it that look like muscles.  It may also double as his new super hero costume.

Craig has been hard at work here doing all kinds of renovating.  We have a new light above our kitche table and a new kitchen faucet.... and the best thing the dry wall has bee started in our basement!

Today Hudson and I played super heros.  I was Captain Hottie hottie bo bottie and Hudson was Nood Dude.  Please feel free to call on us if you need your day saved.

Well Hudson is feeling much better.  He still has a cough but is breathing just fine. 

I have a terrible cough that likes to come out and play at night and keep me awake! 

We have great plans for Easter including an around town clue hunt with the Wlasitz and Easter dinner.

Craig has had weekends off so our basement renovations are humming along quite nicely.  We have lots of new lights and we are almost ready for drywall. 

We have most of the things necessary to paint Hudson's room just not sure where to put Hudson yet. 

The snow is teasing us.  We often wake up to a blanket of fresh snow covering the car and ground but the afternoons are sunny and some melting has been going on.

Hello All! 

Well yesterday we had Hudson's 1st birthday party and it was a fantastic time!  Our theme was pajamas and pancakes and although some party poopers didn't wear their PJs we managed to pull it off quite well.  Hudson thouroughly enjoyed his pancakes and blueberries.  He even proceeded to lick the plate afterward.

Well here we are back in Canada and since we are so near most of you who check our space now I have neglected to update our space.  Hudson's first Christmas was great!  Lots of fun and presents!  Not much else to say about that!

Warning there is a maniac on the loose here at Granny's house.  He is considered very dangerous.  Hudson Scott is described as about 2 1/2 feet tall weighing aprprox. 20 lbs with dark hair and big dark eyes.  If you meet him you should keep in mind he has a drool radius of approx. 5ft and can yell dad dad dad over and over again.  Here is a video of this wild wee boy.  http://video.tinypic.com/player.php?v=2s7uj5i

Well Daddy is home!  Yay!  We are so happy that he is back.  (Cause we really need help getting ready for our trip!)  And of course since Daddy is home there are lots of crazy antics like pu Hudson in a laundry basket.
