Hello Shelby and other interesting tidbits

Well we arrived home on Sunday afternoon and there was Shelby in our front yard.  She had travelled a long way to get home and was very cold, but happy to see us.  Dang-blasted dog!

My Mom is engaged!  To Duncan.  (I know a lot of you asked to who as soon as you read that :))

There are some new videos to delight all of you as I know that you Grandmas and Grandpas never tire of those.

Katie left for Africa today so keep her in your thoughts and prayers folks!

Hudson is quite enjoying bathtime and playing on mommy and daddy's bed in the sunshine!  There is a video of that)

Mommy has a little bit of cabin fever and home sickness.

Hudson is being dedicated at church on Sunday so feel free to make the journey North to witness that if you all want!

    Good-bye Shelby

Shelby went to live at a new home on Wednesday night.  Unfortunately she was not able to stop herself from destroying our house and so she had to leave.

    Sucky Thieves

Well yesterday we went to Sears in Prince George to get some soothers for Hudson.  While we were there we decided to look at som ottomans.  Then Hudson got fussy and so we flipped up the sunvisor on the stroller to see what was wrong.  After that we decided to go get a coffee and take a shopping break for a while.  So we headed out of Sears into the mall.  Half way through the mall Hudson got fussy again and we couldn't find his sucky so Craig was like well lets just use the new ones.  We flipped down the sunvisor and realized that we had walked out of Sears without paying for the soothers.  Yikes!  So we went back into Sears and walked around a bit before paying for them.  Talk about leading your kid to a life of crime at an early age!

    Happy Valentines Day!

Well Hudson had his 1st Doctors appointment today!  For those of you who are interested in this stuff he is now 9lbs 15 oz and  55 cm long (don't know how many inches that is).  He also peed on the doctor!
That's all of the reporting I have to do for now!

    One Month Old!

Hudson is 1 month old today!  Sigh... Where did all of that time go?  Well in his 1 month of living Hudson has managed to poop on schedule (every time he eats), Learn to like his baths (although it is advisable not to bath him too soon after he eats ), sleep 4-5 hours at night (I do believe that this is my favorite thing he has accomplished)  and make his mommy and daddy fall more in love with him everyday.

Here are some new pictures of our 1 month old baby!

    Bedtime Bliss

We have a new event at our house called bedtime.  Hudson goes to bed at 7pm every night then we wake him up at 10pm and feed him.  Then he sleeps for 4-5 hours (lastnight it was 5 hours).  Can you believe it?  5 hours of blissful sleep!  It's the most amazing thing since the invention of... heck it's the most amazing thing ever!
Hudson will be 1 month old on  Friday   He's getting big so fast!

Well I am off to be a good wife and see what I can scrounge up for dinner.  (possibly take out or fast food )

    80's party

So here are some new pictures for your viewing pleasure.

The one is from the Snuggly adventure written about a little while ago.

As well we have a picture of Hudson having a bath (and not screaming)

And that cute little picture of Hudson in the Bouncy chair with the overalls was taken just moments before the events that conspired in the last entry.

Then there are two pictures that aren't of Hudson at all. They are of his parents dressed up to go to an 80's party. I (Craig) went as the construction worker from the Village People. See the official site for comparisons And Sarah went as a Degrassi High Student.

The party was going well until I had to kick the Karaoke off with some Vanilla Ice Ice Baby (Yes not from the 8o's but entertaining nonetheless )

     Well that's all for now,

    The power of poop

Well I have been dressing Hudson in real clothes lately not just his sleepers, the ther day I put him in a great little outfit that Auntie Elaine bough him.  Now this outfit is totally cute and I am so excited that it fits.  Hudson looks totally adorable in it and we wanted to take a picture ater Craig was all done feeding him.  That was our big mistake waiting until after Hudson was fed.  The lesson we learned was that little bums have the power to spray poop out of their diapers and up the back of really cute outfits.  Ugh.  I think that little bum has the same power as Grandpa John's pressure washer.

On a really happy note Hudson slept two 4 hour stretches lastnight and only woke up at 2am to eat.  Yay!  There is hope!

Craig will hopefully be posting pictures soon!
